He has represented the Australian Olympic Team as a Soft Tissue Therapist at the Atlanta, Sydney and Athens Games and is currently Head of Service for Soft Tissue Therapy for the Australian Olympic and Commonwealth Games Teams. Brad’s session will educate you in the secrets of body maintenance - good habits and awareness.   During Brad’s practical presentation you will learn the reasons why people experience certain pain and discomfort during daily activities. Brad will give you options of how to avoid these circumstances, including sitting and standing postures and partner massage to alleviate shoulder and neck discomfort.   Greg is a Senior Sports Dietitian at the Australian Institute of Sport and co author of the “Survival of the Fitness” cooking books series. Greg provides an insight into a range of nutrition issues that are regularly discussed with elite level athletes. The principles discussed and the solutions in incorporating these principles are related to the lives of healthy minded people. Many of the nutrition goals for elite athletes are applicable to people aiming to optimise their health, while maximising their work and exercise performance.   The session uses current research, athlete stories and a variety of interactive tasks to ensure participants learn and enjoy the session. A cooking demonstration is included at the end of the session to reinforce the principles discussed and to demonstrate the ease at which healthy and nutritious meals can be prepared.
